The People and How They Live
Hamilton Club
32 Church Street
The Hamilton Club, named after Paterson founder Alexander Hamilton, opened in 1897 as an exclusive men's club.
In 1902 the building was devastated by a fire that destroyed most of downtown Paterson. The building was reconstructed and reopened in March, 1903.
The building was designed by Charles Edwards.
